At least, Genesis thought dodging rocket and skipping out on missions would make her life not only easier but more fun. But as the days go by, both her bank account and her enthusiasm have started to dry up. The days of just roaming Hoenn might be over, but she couldn’t help but feel like she wanted to adventure the outskirts one more time before she started the work period of her self. A sigh escaped her, green orbs flickered over the oddly empty outskirts.[break][break]

“Stay on alert,” the woman told her companion, her own eyes narrowed at the strange emptiness and silence, “Something doesn’t feel right.” The golden feline let out a confidence meow, head held high. She wasn’t afraid of anything. This behavior cracked a smirk on Genesis lips, loving this shiny creatures attitude that she got from the safari zone. If only she had more time to get a shiny electrike, it would have been the perfect trip. Unfortunately, she had no luck. “Let’s go this way,” the raven haired woman mumbled, motioning with a wave of her hand to follow, “I want to see if there is anything over here.”

The paired ventured the outskirts with little thought. A loud hissy erupted from the oddly colored shinx when a vullaby popped out from no where. The startled made Genesis laugh, rolling her eyes as the sparks skipped across its fur. The feline forced the electric from her, sending a wave of DISCHARGE out. It hit, shocking the poor baby bird to death. It squawked angrily, turning and fleeing before it got shocked again. The action impressed the trainer, giving the cat a smiling praised before motioning to follow her.

Out of the blue, a stunktank leaped out. The shinx hissed loudly, back arched up and fur stood on end. Genesis wasn’t going to lie, she did jump. But, ended up chuckling after when she realized what happened. Her green orbs narrowed at the poison and dark type, a hint of a smirk on the edge of her lips. “You ain’t gunna do shit,” she scowled at the wild pokemon, hands feels onto her hips and head bobbed back and forth with each word, “Now get lost.”[break][break]

The stunktank, at first, glared right back. Another rounds of hisses erupted from the oddly colored cub, paw rose to scratch at the air in its direction. Several seconds pass and neither party budged. Genesis continued her own glare at the wild pokemon, waiting for it to walk away. And lucky for her, the dark and poison type gave up. It let out a grunt, turning away and fleeing from the area for the time being. “That’s what I thought.” Her arms crossed over her chest, tip of her tongue stuck out in the direction of the fleeing creature. Shinx scratched at the air, letting growls out. Genesis chuckled, waving for the shinx to follow her somewhere else.

Many hours had pass sense their last encounter. Unfortunately, the spinarak wasn’t something she desired. A sigh escaped her, ignoring the poison and bug type pokemon in favor of heading home early. A yawn overwhelmed her, recalling her shiny shinx into the safety of its capsule so she could head home quicker. A nap sounds like a perfect evening activity.
